The tent is an imagined second skin, a ‘psychic’ envelope that encourages us to think about surfaces and how they become sites for interpretations, ambiguity, and complications. Creating textile sculptures is a way for me to explore concepts of incomplete spaces, intimacy and the idea of ‘ad-hoc self-making.’
